The following article distinguishes two main assumptions about the importance of the gender perspective in the studies on Anthropology of work. On the basis of a research experience during master's and bachelor's degree, we analyse from the gender perspective two crucial issues of work:salary and working day.
As regards salary, the control over the working class and in particular about women is strengthen. We also point out the historical tendency to wage inequality.
About the workday we highlight the invisible loads that women face daily.
Questioning common sense and the daily life dimension are two inputs of anthropology that help making visible the particular features of work among women and to see the list of works often understood as "tasks". This is one of the main articulations between the gender approach and the disciplinary field of Anthropology of Work.
