Abstract

This article addresses the practice of credit in a legal Betting Game Agency located in Martínez city, Buenos Aires Province. This practice shows an ambivalent position for the business owners between a moral discourse that contests gambling game debts and a credit system presented as a service. In that balance, credit for betting game relies on trust and obligation relationships with each “client” but also to the stigma that the gambler carries, thus imposing boundaries and setting the times and the amounts of money to be returned.
