This crisis afected PT’s project generating towards 2013 street protests of the working class who was strongly afected in different aspects of its eveyday life. These protests expressed the weaknesses of the PT social and political project. Which were the main features of the policies developed by PT between 2003 and 2016 that had an impact on social and labour rights? Did they provide positive elements and advances or did they turn into failures that increased the deep crisis that demolished PT governments? The purpose of this article is to offer a critical assesment of this experience to give some answer to these concerns.
