Abstract

In this paper we propose to make research into political construction processes of the category of "institutional violence" in the province of Córdoba, based on the ethnographic research that we have been carrying out in our investigation team.

We intend to reflect on the construction of institutional violence as a native category deployed both by family members and by "family activists" and which includes different cases such as reports of abuse and cruelty that exceed death itself, and also refers to the functioning of the judicial bureaucracy.

For this purpose, from complexity and accumulation, we shall do research into the violent experiences that people go through, focusing on the family networks and their trajectories because they are the ones who deal with the conflicts and implications that violent deaths provoke.
